How to grow hyacinth potted plants

1. Potting soil

When caring for potted plants, you should choose a flower pot of appropriate size, with a diameter of approximately eight to ten centimeters and drainage holes, and a clay pot will do. The soil should be sandy and well-drained to avoid waterlogging, which can easily cause the bulbs to rot. Just mix river sand and wood ash to prepare it, so that it can grow well in the later stage.

2. Lighting

During maintenance, place it in a sunny place so that it can bloom beautiful flowers during the flowering period. But be careful to avoid strong sunlight in summer to avoid sunburn. The light in winter is mild and suitable, and the daily light time should be between six and eight hours. If the weather does not permit, supplementary light should be used. Only with sufficient light can the plants grow better.

3. Watering

It does not require much water to grow, so you don't need to water it frequently during maintenance. The soil in the pot just needs to be slightly moist. If it is too moist, the roots will easily rot. Usually watering once every week is enough to meet the growth needs.

4. Fertilization

Fertilize frequently during maintenance, especially during the growth period. Organic fertilizer should be applied every half a month so that the flowers can bloom more vigorously. Be careful not to apply too much fertilizer or too high a concentration to avoid burning the roots.
