Are the leaves of your green radish turning yellow? It turns out that these “3” positions should not be used for placement. Check to see if you’ve fallen into this trap!

The most common green plants in the home should be green ivy and spider plants, because they are evergreen all the year round and easy to grow. The long branches can be used for cuttings. It can be said that buying one pot can turn it into ten pots. However, sometimes the leaves of green ivy and spider plants turn yellow. I finally realized that the location where they are grown also has a great impact.

1. It is best not to place it near the windowsill!

Many novice flower growers think that growing flowers means letting them receive more sunlight so that they can grow better and the effect of light will be enhanced. In fact, this is not the case. It also depends on the flower varieties. Some flowers are negative plants. If you often expose them to the sun, they will definitely develop yellow leaves. If you continue to care for them for a long time, the plants and flowers may die!

The same principle actually applies to green ivy and spider plants. We can expose green ivy to sunlight, but not for too long, otherwise the water in the green ivy will evaporate too quickly and the nutrients in the soil cannot keep up, resulting in yellow leaves. It is best to place it by the window for a few hours a day and avoid exposing it to direct sunlight for the rest of the time!

2. Don’t place it next to home appliances!

Sometimes, in order to decorate our home, we will choose to place a few pots of green plants such as green ivy and spider plants next to the TV or other places, but if we keep them like this for a long time, it will affect the green ivy. Because electrical appliances generate a lot of heat when they are working, the plants placed next to them are like being baked at high temperature, and the moisture will evaporate quickly. Similarly, electrical appliances will generate radiation when they are in operation. If the plants are exposed to radiation for a long time, it would be abnormal if the roots did not rot and the leaves did not turn yellow!

3. Don’t place it next to air conditioning or heater!

Because the branches of the green ivy will become very long after growing for a long time, many flower lovers like to put it on the air conditioner for maintenance, thinking that it is more conducive to growth if the branches hang down. However, in summer, the overall temperature will rise when air is blown out from the air conditioner. At this time, the moisture in the leaves of the green radish will evaporate rapidly, so it is normal for the leaves to turn yellow. The same applies to heating in winter. Now remember, it is best not to grow flowers next to air conditioners and heaters!

If we want to grow plants such as green ivy and spider plants well, we'd better buy a relatively high flower rack to maintain them. This way, we can change their position at will and the long branches can also hang down to grow. It is a good way to kill two birds with one stone.
