What to do if the leaves of the transit tree turn yellow

1. Stop fertilizing

(1) Specific reasons: This aspect includes two situations. One is large amount, and the other is high concentration. Both can cause fertilizer damage, resulting in yellowing of leaves and death in severe cases.

(2) Solution: Stop fertilizing immediately upon discovery. Then, rinse the plants with clean water. After it returns to normal, fertilize normally again.

2. Provide diffuse light

(1) Specific reason: The light cannot be too strong or too weak. If the Transplant tree is exposed to direct sunlight, the leaves may get burned and turn yellow. If the light is too dim, chlorophyll cannot be formed, and the green color of the leaves will gradually fade and disappear.

(2) Solution: If the light is too strong, place it in a shady place for a while; if the light is too weak, place it in a brighter place. In general, it is best to give it diffuse light.

3. Change the soil

(1) Specific reason: This plant prefers acidic soil. If alkaline soil is used, the leaves may turn yellow and fall off.

(2) Solution: Spraying with 0.2 to 0.5 percent concentration of ferrous sulfate can turn the leaves green. After that, change the soil to acidic soil when repotting.

4. Cooling and water control

(1) Specific reasons: Under conditions of high temperature, high humidity and poor ventilation, leaves may also turn yellow. It is particularly common in summer.
