Soil alkalinization

Soil alkalinization is a problem that will occur in all home-grown plants. This is because when we water the plants, most of the time we use tap water, which is also called hard water. If we use hard water to water the plants for a long time, a large amount of salt will accumulate in the soil, which will cause the leaves of the plants to turn yellow and wither.

Solution: You can use purified water for daily watering. If conditions do not permit, you can trap tap water for a few days in advance, or let it sit in the sun for a few days before watering. This will avoid the problem of soil alkalinization.

Improper fertilization

During the fertilization process, if the nutrition is not balanced, the amount of nitrogen fertilizer is too little or there is no nitrogen fertilizer at all, it will cause the plant leaves to turn yellow and wither.

Solution: You can add nitrogen fertilizer, but do not apply too much at one time. Apply light fertilizer and increase the number of fertilizations so that the fertilizer will not damage the roots.
