How to grow green radish in water to make it more lush and strong?

Pothos is a popular household plant that can be grown in either soil or water. The hydroponic green radish can grow very well, but not all flower lovers have mastered the correct method of hydroponics. Some flower lovers may mistakenly believe that they can just take the green radish out of the soil and put it directly into water. This practice is actually not scientific. So how can we grow the green radish in water to make it more lush and strong?

1. Choose the right container

Choose a transparent container that is suitable for the size of the green radish, so that you can observe the growth of the roots and it is also convenient for viewing.

2. Clean the roots

After removing the green radish from the soil, gently wash the roots with clean water to remove the attached soil.

3. Prune the roots

Properly prune the roots of the green radish, remove dead roots and overlong roots to promote the growth of new roots.

4. Add clean water

Add clean water to the container, the water level should be enough to cover the roots but not submerge the stems.

5. Change water regularly

In the early stages of hydroponics, it is necessary to replace the water every few days to keep the water clean. As the green radish gradually adapts to the hydroponic environment, the frequency of water changes can be appropriately reduced.

6. Provide nutrition

Hydroponic green radish requires additional nutritional supplements. You can add some nutrient solution specifically for hydroponic plants to meet its growth needs.

7. Light and temperature

Pothos prefers diffused light and avoids direct sunlight. At the same time, maintain a suitable temperature and avoid extreme hot and cold environments.

The above steps need to be completed when hydroponically cultivating green radish, so that the green radish can grow healthily in the water and show vigorous vitality. Hydroponic green radish is not only beautiful but also easy to manage, making it a good choice for home greening.
