What medicine is effective for root-knot nematodes and how to prevent them

1. What medicine is effective for root-knot nematodes?

1. How to identify: If you observe that the leaves of the plants on the ground are turning yellow and half-dead, remove the plants from the pots in time, or dig up a little soil to expose the roots a little. If you find tumors on the roots, they are most likely root-knot nematodes.

2. Chemical control: Root-knot nematodes are contagious and prone to recurrence, so they can be controlled with leeches. Remove the soil clumps attached to the root system, and cut off and destroy all the tumors on the root system. Prepare a solution of 1500 times the amount of water mixed with Ligensha emulsion, dilute it and use it to soak the roots of the plants. Be careful not to soak the leaves to avoid burning them. After soaking, dry the roots of the plant and prepare a new potting soil for planting. When potting, add 2 spoons of Ligensha granules into the soil to prevent the recurrence of root-knot nematodes.

2. How to prevent root-knot nematodes

1. Overhead flower pots: For those who grow flowers outdoors, you can raise the flower pots so that the bottom of the pots are 5 cm above the ground to prevent rainwater from carrying insect eggs into the pots from the bottom and infecting the flowers through water and soil.

2. Clean water: When watering flowers, make sure the water is clean and avoid watering with rainwater that has already fallen on the ground.

3. Change pots regularly: When growing flowers at home, you should also change the potting soil regularly, such as once a year. This can prevent the occurrence of root-knot nematodes, as well as prevent soil compaction and nutrient loss.

4. Prevention with chemicals: When growing flowers, bury some Ligensha granules in the soil to prevent the occurrence of root-knot nematodes.
