1. Check and prune the rootsThe hyacinths we buy are usually in bulb state. We cut off the shriveled fibrous roots on the bulb root plate and check whether there are any moldy areas. If there are any, cut off the moldy areas with a knife and soak them in carbendazim (diluted 1000 times) for half an hour. 2. Dry naturallyTake out the soaked bulbs and place them in a cool and ventilated place to allow the wounds to dry thoroughly. If the hyacinth bulbs do not need root pruning or soaking in carbendazim after inspection, they can be directly thrown into the hydroponic bottle for hydroponics. 3. Water culture and maintenance1. How to deal with hydroponics: Place the processed hyacinth bulbs with the roots facing downwards on the hydroponic bottle, add water to the hydroponic bottle, and make sure the water surface is 0.2 cm away from the root plate of the bulbs. It is best to be closer, but make sure the root plate is not soaked in water. 2. Maintenance before rooting: Change the water frequently before the bulbs take root. You can wrap the bottle with a black plastic bag and keep the temperature at 5-10℃ to promote rapid rooting of the bulbs. Remove the plastic bag after the roots of the bulbs fill the hydroponic bottle. 3. Maintenance after rooting: After the bulbs have taken root, you only need to ensure that the water in the bottle is clean. Change the water when the water is turbid. After two or three months, the hyacinth will bloom and the fragrance will fill the house. IV. Precautions1. When handling hyacinth bulbs, be sure to wear gloves and do not directly touch the juice inside the bulbs with your hands, which can easily cause itching and allergies. 2. When hyacinths are sprouting, you need to keep them at a certain temperature to prevent the arrows from being stuck. Once the hyacinths are stuck, you can put them in a small dark room to allow the flower arrows to grow and stretch, thus getting rid of the problem of stuck arrows. 5. Hyacinth pictures |
