How to care for newly bought money grass

How to care for newly bought money grass

1. Change soil:

Moneywort has very low requirements for soil. The soil provided by merchants is sufficient to support the normal growth of Moneywort and there is no need to change the soil. Moreover, the Money Plant has just arrived in the new environment and has not yet adapted to it. Changing the soil will easily damage the root system. You just need to keep the soil loose, breathable and permeable.

2. Lighting:

Money Plant prefers a semi-shaded environment. The newly bought Money Plant needs to be placed in a cool and ventilated place for cultivation. Be careful not to expose it to direct sunlight. Just let it receive light for a few hours a day. This will allow it to adapt to the environment faster and grow lush and vigorous.

3. Temperature:

The newly bought money plant needs some time to adapt to the new growing environment. At this time, it is very afraid of strong stimulation from the external environment. Therefore, it is best to control the temperature between 10-25℃, which can help it adapt to the new environment faster.

4. Watering:

Don’t water the newly bought money plant too much, because it has not yet adapted to the new environment and has poor absorption capacity. Excessive watering can easily damage the roots. After adapting to the environment in the later stage, the amount of watering needs to be increased because the money grass has a very large demand for water.
