How to care for the newly bought green radish

How to care for the newly bought green radish

1. Receive appropriate light

The newly bought green radish should be placed in a sunny place at home so that it can receive sufficient light, but be careful not to expose it to the scorching sun, because it has not yet adapted to the changes in the surrounding environment. Sudden exposure may cause growth stagnation or even death.

2. Do not use compound fertilizer

When fertilizing green radish, you should be cautious when using compound fertilizers, especially granular fertilizers. Frequent application may lead to negative effects such as poor soil permeability and seedling burn. The newly purchased green radish is more fragile, so be careful not to apply this type of fertilizer.

3. Clean the branches and leaves

The green radish bought from the market has a lot of dust and dirt on its surface due to transportation and other reasons, which seriously affects its ability to receive light and carry out photosynthesis. Therefore, after you buy it, you need to wipe and clean the surface with a damp cloth and dry it.

4. Do not change the pot immediately

Many flower lovers can’t wait to replace their flowers with bigger and more beautiful pots right after buying them. In fact, this practice is unreasonable. After the surrounding environment has changed, the green ivy has not had time to fully adapt. If its soil environment is suddenly changed at this time, it may be unable to adapt, resulting in its growth and development being hindered. Generally, repotting is done after about a month.
