How to deal with roses after repotting? Can they be exposed to the sun?

1. Spray water frequently

Roses that have just been repotted need some time to adapt and cannot absorb a large amount of water and nutrients. Therefore, do not water frequently at this time, otherwise water will easily accumulate and cause root rot. Water should be sprinkled on the leaves frequently so that they can absorb water better, less likely to turn yellow, and it is also beneficial for easing the growth of the pot.

2. Do not apply fertilizer

After repotting, the roses need to be acclimatized for a while, and no fertilizer should be applied during this period. Even if it is applied, the plant cannot absorb it. In this case, it will burn the roots, which is extremely detrimental to its growth and recovery. You should wait until the plant starts to grow and new shoots appear before applying fertilizer. Apply a small amount in the early stage and then slowly resume management.

3. Do not expose to the sun

After repotting, the plant should be placed in a cool and well-ventilated environment. Do not rush to see the light or the sun, otherwise the leaves will wilt or even get sunburned, causing yellowing, which is not conducive to recovery. It will take about a week after repotting before increasing the light and slowly moving it to a place with dim light. This will allow it to recover and is also beneficial for later growth.

4. Suitable temperature

Plants that have just been repotted are relatively fragile and require a suitable environment. The temperature should be between 15-25 degrees, which is conducive to acclimatization. Do not place it in a place where the temperature is too high or too low, as the acclimatization time will be prolonged and poor growth may occur.
