Grape flowering management technology, how to manage before and after flowering

1. Appropriate topdressing

It consumes relatively more nutrients during the flowering period. In order to meet the needs of flowering and fruiting, topdressing is required before and after flowering. In addition, boric acid should be sprayed before flowering to increase the fruit setting rate. In order to reduce nutrient consumption, it is also necessary to pinch the tips of the ears, and remove the branches in a timely manner.

2. Control temperature and humidity

It likes a relatively warm environment. The daytime temperature during flowering should be around 28 degrees, and the nighttime temperature should be between 16-18 degrees. Such a temperature environment can promote better flowering. After the flowers bloom, the humidity must be controlled. Stop watering first and the humidity should be about 50%. Greenhouse cultivation should be ventilated frequently, and open-air cultivation should loosen the soil and take measures to reduce humidity.

3. Sparse inflorescence

The inflorescence thinning should be determined according to the growth strength of the branches, and should be carried out between 10 days before flowering and during the flowering period. There are more than two inflorescences on each fruit branch. Thin out the weak inflorescences, so that the strong fruit branches have 1-2 inflorescences and the medium-strong branches have 1 inflorescence. No inflorescences are needed on the weak fruit branches.

4. Artificial pollination

Although there are many varieties of it, most of them are bisexual flowers and can be fertilized under natural conditions. However, some stamens will degenerate early, and pollination is required to ensure yield, so artificial pollination must be carried out in a timely manner.
