How to hydroponically cultivate lilies and tips for hydroponics

1. Prepare the container

Before growing lilies hydroponically, you need to prepare containers first. You can choose large glass bottles with wide mouths, which can accommodate the lilies and are more beautiful. Clean them before use. The water inside must also be prepared. Take out the tap water in advance and put it aside to dry. After about 2-3 days, it can be used to water the flowers.

2. Pruning branches

Lilies need to be processed before hydroponics. The bottom of the branches can be trimmed into a slope, so that the area is increased and more water can be absorbed to maintain later growth. The dead and yellow leaves above also need to be properly trimmed, which can reduce nutrient consumption and water evaporation.

3. Carry out hydroponics

Place the lily in a container, secure the bottom with small stones, add an appropriate amount of water (the water level does not need to be too high), and be careful not to let the leaves get wet.

4. Water culture care

Place the hydroponics in a place with good diffuse light and avoid direct sunlight. During the maintenance process, the water needs to be changed regularly. The higher the temperature, the faster the water should be changed. If the temperature is high, the water can be changed every two to three days. If the temperature is low, the water can be changed once a week to keep the water clean and hygienic. Water changes need to be combined with the addition of nutrient solution.
