How to plant lilies and what to pay attention to when planting

1. How to plant

1. Select bulbs: The selection of bulbs is very important in the entire planting process, which determines the subsequent growth. Choose your favorite variety, and then select good quality bulbs from it. It is best to choose bulbs that look plump, full, not shriveled, and without damage or pests.

2. Processing of bulbs: The bulbs need to be processed before planting to avoid problems during later growth. First remove the old skin on the outside, trim it appropriately, and then disinfect it. Buy a lot of fungicide, then add it to clean water to make a solution, soak the bulbs in the solution, and take them out after a period of time.

3. Prepare the soil: The soil needs to be prepared before planting. It cannot tolerate water and moisture, and there must be no accumulation of water in the growing environment. Therefore, the soil must be loose and breathable, and also rich in nutrients. Therefore, perlite, peat soil, and coconut bricks can be used to prepare it, and it must be disinfected before use.

4. Start planting: Place tiles at the bottom of the flowerpot, then pour some nutrient soil into it, plant the lily bulbs in, and cover them with a thin layer of soil. Do not plant them too deep or too shallow.

2. Precautions

After planting, you also need to pay attention to maintenance. First, water the flowerpot, place it in a cool and ventilated place, and then gradually expose it to light.
