Green beans can be planted in spring and autumn. Spring planting is generally around mid-March, while autumn planting is from late August to early September. Generally, spring planting is the main method because the yield of the same variety sown in spring is higher than that in autumn.

1. Land preparation and fertilization: Green beans are suitable for growing in soil with deep soil layer, good ventilation, loose and fertile soil. Avoid choosing plots where bean crops are continuously planted. Before sowing, the land needs to be deeply plowed and sufficient base fertilizer should be applied.

2. Sowing and planting: When sowing, you need to choose green bean seeds with full grains and no disease. You can use the direct seeding method and plant them according to a certain row spacing.

3. Field management: After sowing, green beans need suitable air humidity and soil humidity. They are relatively drought-resistant during the seedling stage, so 1-2 waterings are sufficient, and top dressing should be done after the seedlings have fully grown.

When sowing green beans, you need to pay attention to the fact that the low temperature must be stable at above 12 degrees before sowing. In the northern region, if you use mulch to cover the ground, you can sow 5-10 days in advance. When managing the seedlings, you need to water and fertilize according to the growth conditions.
