How to grow ivy flowers

How to grow ivy flowers

1. Soil

It does not have too many requirements for the soil. Normally, ordinary culture soil is enough. It should maintain permeability and be rich in nutrients to provide a good foundation for breeding. After 1-2 years of cultivation, the nutrients in the soil are consumed and the potting soil needs to be replaced.

2. Lighting

When growing ivy, be sure to give it plenty of sunlight and place it in a well-lit area indoors so that it can be exposed to more sunlight, which will promote its growth. However, the situation in summer is quite special. You should avoid being exposed to strong light all the time and provide appropriate shielding.

3. Water

During the growing season, pay attention to watering and water after the soil is dry, but pay attention to the amount of water and do not make the potting soil too moist. The temperature is lower in winter, so you need to control watering, just make sure it is not too dry.

4. Fertilization

Spring and autumn are both growing seasons, and fertilizer is needed at this time. You can apply a thin layer of fertilizer every 2-3 weeks. In summer and winter, the growth is slow and stagnant, so you can stop fertilizing. In addition to root fertilization, foliar fertilizer should also be applied and potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution should be sprayed.

5. Temperature

It likes warmth, and the suitable temperature for its growth is about 20℃-25℃. It cannot tolerate heat and cold. In winter, you should pay attention to maintaining the temperature above 10℃.
