Propagation of Tangyin Succulent Plants

Propagation of Tangyin Succulent Plants

1. Planting

1. Time: The best time to sow is in spring, which is during the growth period. It is easy to germinate at this time, which is also beneficial for later growth and development.

2. Seeds: Choose suitable seeds. The seeds are relatively small, so you need special attention.

3. Germination: Prepare a shallow tray, sow the seeds in it, and cover it with a thin layer of fine sand to prevent the seeds from being scraped away. Covering the shallow tray with a piece of glass can ensure good temperature and humidity, and it will germinate in about 15 to 20 days.

4. Planting: After the roots are stable, you can plant them. The flowerpot should be of moderate size. The soil can be a mixture of fine sand, vermiculite, perlite and culture soil. Slowly plant the plants into the soil.

2. Cutting

1. Cuttings: Tangyin succulents are generally propagated by cuttings, which is simple to operate and has a high survival rate. You can choose the stems with leaves or the leaves for the cuttings. Choose a plant with good growth and cut the cuttings, then put them aside to dry until the cut is dry.

2. Matrix: The matrix can be plain sand, vermiculite, perlite, etc., which must be disinfected before use.

3. Cutting: Insert the cut cuttings into the substrate, carry out post-care, and wait for rooting.
