Succulent mineral water bottle cutting method

1. Cut off the leaves

Choose plants with vigorous growth and good growth, cut off the strong leaves from them, and ensure that they are complete, full and plump, which can increase the chance of rooting. Do not choose weak leaves or diseased or insect-infested leaves, as they will affect the later rooting growth.

2. Preparation

Before you start, you need to make some preparations. Prepare a plastic bottle (made of transparent material), pour out the water inside, and wash it in clean water. You also need to prepare a pair of sharp scissors so that you can cut the bottle smoothly later.

3. Cut the bottle

Take out the plastic bottle, then use scissors to cut 10 cm from the bottom, cut out several T-shaped cuts, observe the thickness of the leaves, and ensure that the width of the cut is larger than the leaf.

4. Insert the blade

Take out the leaves, then insert the base into the cut of the bottle. Add a small amount of water to the plastic bottle. The amount of water does not need to be too much, and the lid does not need to be covered. Be careful not to let the water touch the leaves.

5. Post-maintenance

Place the plastic bottle near the window, where it can get some sunlight but not direct sunlight. It will take about 7-10 days for the plant to take root.
