How to grow wild lilies

How to grow wild lilies

1. Light requirements

Wild lilies need sufficient light to grow, so this must be ensured, especially during the growing season, flowering season and winter, so that it can be exposed to sufficient sunlight. In summer, you can block the sunlight appropriately to prevent it from being exposed to the scorching sun. If you want to grow the lily in a potted plant, you can place it on a balcony with good light.

2. Suitable soil

The soil is required to be thick and have good drainage. Loose sandy soil can be chosen, but clay cannot be chosen, otherwise it will affect the planting effect.

3. Moisture Application

As for the application of water, you can keep the potting soil relatively dry at ordinary times. During the growing period, you need to apply water in time to keep it moist, but not too humid and no water accumulation should occur. When the rainy season comes, water supply should be reduced and attention should be paid to drainage.

4. Apply fertilizer

Wild lilies are relatively resistant to barrenness and are not very strict about fertilizer. Generally, they only need to be fertilized regularly during the growing season. Compound fertilizers can be selected to meet the needs of various elements.

5. Disease prevention and control

During its growth process, if the maintenance factors are unreasonable, it will also be infected with diseases, such as black spot disease, rust, etc. It is necessary to take precautions in advance and manage ventilation in time to reduce the occurrence of diseases. If the disease occurs, you can spray it with carbendazim.
