1. Time SelectionThere are not too many restrictions on the time selection. You can choose any of the three seasons: spring, summer, and autumn. The germination is stronger in spring, which can promote growth. The humidity in the air is higher in summer and autumn, which can promote germination and rooting. Winter is too cold and not suitable. 2. Cut the stem segmentsChoose a Charizard plant with relatively good growth condition and cut a stem segment from it. It should be fuller and free from diseases and pests. Healthy stem segments are conducive to survival. The length doesn't need to be too long, about 10cm. After cutting it, you cannot insert it immediately, because white juice will flow out from the bottom. You can wash it in water or put it in a cool place to dry and wait for the wound to heal. 3. Preparation of matrixThe selected substrate should be mainly breathable. Vermiculite and perlite are both acceptable. The laying thickness is about 5-10cm. Before use, the container and substrate should be disinfected and a certain amount of water should be poured on them to maintain moisture content. 4. Take cuttingsInsert the processed stem segments into the substrate, making sure they do not fall over. Be sure to spray water on them to promote rooting as soon as possible. |
