How to make Chlorophytum comosum bloom more

How to make Chlorophytum comosum bloom more

1. Supplement sunlight

It loves sunlight very much, and one of the factors for flowering is supplementary light. It needs to be maintained in a sunny place and fully exposed to sufficient light stimulation, so as to increase the number of flowers. However, this does not apply in midsummer, as excessive sun exposure will burn the petals.

2. Adequate nutrition

It likes fertilizer supplements, and nutrition is the basis of flowering. Pay attention to fertilization during the growth process. During the period from spring to early summer, the growth is relatively rapid. You can apply compound fertilizer every half a month to supplement phosphorus and potassium before flowering. It can not only increase the number of flowers, but also prolong the flowering period. It should be noted that it is not suitable to apply fertilizer during midsummer.

3. Temperature guarantee

If you want to increase the number of flowers, you must also maintain a suitable temperature, keeping it at around 15-25℃. The temperature in winter cannot be too low. If it can be kept at around 20℃, it is possible to achieve flowering in all four seasons.

4. Proper pruning

Proper pruning can reduce the consumption of some nutrients and promote an increase in the number of flowers.

5. Water supplement

Pay attention to replenishing water, it should not be too much or too little. Too much water will cause root rot and flower buds to fall off. If there is less water, there will not be enough water in the soil to support it.
