Green Begonia bonsai cultivation method

Green Begonia bonsai cultivation method

1. Suitable lighting

The sunlight it is exposed to in different growing seasons is different. It grows rapidly in spring and autumn and is full of vitality. Just place it in front of bright light and keep scattered light. In hot summer, because the sunlight is strong, it is necessary to block the sunlight and not place it in direct sunlight. It is suitable to grow in the sun in winter and can be placed in a sunny place.

2. Maintain temperature

The most suitable temperature for it is around 18-20 degrees Celsius. It grows most normally within this range. If the temperature is too high or too low, it will have an adverse effect on the growth of the plant. Pay attention to keeping warm in winter, move the flower pots indoors in time, and avoid exposure to cold wind outside.

3. Replenish water

Different growing environments have different water requirements. Just water normally in spring and autumn and keep the soil slightly moist. In summer, because the climate is dry and more water evaporates, you can water the plants every two days, and also spray clean water on the leaves to keep them bright and shiny. In winter, because the growth is slow and the water requirement is less, you can water less and keep the soil in the pot dry.

4. Apply fertilizer

The nutrients of bonsai come from the soil, so it is important to supplement nutrients. During the growing period, it is necessary to water with cake fertilizer every 10 days, and pay attention to the concentration.
