How to plant mung beans in the soil

How to plant mung beans in the soil

1. Prepare the soil

First prepare suitable potting soil. There are not too many requirements for choosing flower pots. If there are no suitable flower pots, you can use cardboard boxes, foam boxes, etc. at home. The effect is also good, but you need to poke a few small holes in the bottom so that too much water can flow out. If you choose to plant it in the ground, you can find a garden with good sunlight and plant it there. The soil needs to be fertile, breathable, loose and contain nutrients.

2. Processing mung beans

First think about the needs of the varieties, including creeping and upright growth, and choose the seeds according to your own needs. Select the mung beans that are plump, full and firm. They are full of vitality and have a higher survival rate when planted. Soak the mung beans in water, pick out the shriveled and damaged ones, and leave only the healthy and undamaged ones. Soak the mung beans in clean water and wait for them to sprout.

3. Sowing

Level the soil to make sure it is loose and soft, then collect the germinated seeds and sow them evenly into the soil. Pay attention to the spacing and do not arrange them too densely. Cover them with a layer of soil. After planting, water it thoroughly and keep the surrounding temperature at around 20 degrees Celsius.
