Grape hard branch grafting time

Grape hard branch grafting time

1. Grafting time

Grape hardbranch grafting is very difficult, and the operation method is difficult to fully master. The survival rate after grafting is not very high, so you must choose the best time first. Generally, it is best to graft before the grapes bleed, about half a month before the bleed period, and the survival rate will be slightly higher.

2. Precautions

1. When grafting, the grafting position needs to be wrapped and tied tightly to avoid reducing the survival rate due to improper operation. After grafting, you just need to expose the buds. Do not expose the grafted plants to rain after grafting, and take protective measures during the rainy season.

2. After entering spring, the temperature does not rise quickly, so it is best to put it in a plastic bag to keep it warm. Wait until the temperature rises and stabilizes, then remove the plastic bag.

3. The tools used for grafting are also very important. Try to use sharper knives. If the knife is too blunt, it will cause great harm to the scion.
