How to grow fennel

1. Time Selection

The suitable time to plant fennel is spring and autumn. The temperature during these two stages will not be too low or too high, which is suitable for seed germination, and the grown fennel tastes very good. The approximate time is between March-April and July-September, and it can be done at any time as long as the temperature can be maintained at around 15-23℃.

2. Planting Method

1. Purchasing seeds: It is important to choose suitable seeds when planting. Fresh and high-quality seeds will have a higher germination rate. Old seeds may sometimes not germinate, so buy better quality seeds.

2. Processing: Soak the seeds in clean water at 18-20℃, take them out after one day, and wash off the sticky layer attached to them. Wrap it in clean gauze, place it in an environment of 20℃, rinse it with water every day, and you can plant it after it sprouts.

3. Planting: Prepare the soil and add some base fertilizer to it to facilitate the growth of the plants. There should not be too large clods of soil in the land. Then sow the treated seeds into the soil and cover them with soil after sowing. 1 cm of soil is best.
