How to prune Wanchongshan

1. Pruning method

When pruning Wan Chong Shan, just let nature take its course, no need to make it too complicated. Before pruning, it is best to check the overall growth status of the plant to see if there are any dry, rotten, diseased or insect-infested branches. If so, just prune them all. However, pruning should not be too severe, as it will reduce the ornamental value of the plant.

Some plants grow relatively closely. In such cases, it is necessary to cut off the relatively weak branches and stems and retain the strong parts. When pruning, cut at an angle, and it is best to cut it in one go. This will avoid wear and tear on the plant by the scissors, and the plant will recover faster after pruning.

2. Precautions

1. Before pruning, you need to prepare sharp knives and disinfect them before use. Because there are a lot of bacteria on ordinary scissors, if they are not disinfected, the bacteria will invade the plant through the pruning cuts, which is not conducive to its growth.

2. After pruning, you should carry out proper maintenance and do not spray water on the plants immediately. If the plant comes into contact with moisture before the wound has healed, it will easily turn into black rot.
