How to grow a tiger plant seedling and how long does it take to grow a leaf

1. How to raise

1. Appropriate light: Tiger Piranha seedlings are relatively shade-tolerant. Although they need sunlight, it doesn’t matter if they don’t see sunlight for a short period of time. You can grow the snake plant in a semi-shaded place with diffuse light, and expose it to soft diffuse light, which will be beneficial to its growth. Be careful to avoid direct sunlight to prevent the leaves from being burned.

2. Water in moderation: Because of its native habitat, it is relatively drought-resistant. Do not water it too wet. Just wait until the soil in the pot is dry before watering. Its roots are not very developed, so do not water it too much to avoid the soil in the pot being too wet, which will cause root rot and be detrimental to its growth.

3. Apply fertilizer in small amounts: Tiger Piranha can tolerate barrenness and does not require much fertilizer. It only needs appropriate fertilizer during the growing period to maintain growth.

4. Growth temperature: For Sansevieria, the suitable growth temperature is around 20-30℃. It cannot tolerate the cold, and the temperature for wintering is above 10℃.

5. Sandy soil: The plant is not very demanding in this regard. Its roots cannot tolerate water and moisture. You should provide sandy soil with good drainage. Add a small amount of base fertilizer after mixing the soil to ensure good nutritional needs.

2. How long does it take for a leaf to grow?

There is no exact time for Sansevieria to grow a leaf. If it is properly maintained, a leaf can grow within a few months. If it is not properly maintained, it may not grow a leaf in a year.
