1. Placement

To keep water bamboo alive, you must first choose the correct location for it and pay attention to ventilation. The air must circulate normally to avoid the growth of bacteria. Also be careful not to place it in front of heating equipment, television, or fan to prevent the leaves from turning yellow and drying out.

2. Change water regularly

The main source of growth is water quality, so you must pay attention to changes in water quality and change the water regularly, once a week. In summer, due to the hot weather, the water quality is prone to become turbid, so you can change it more frequently, once every four or five days. When changing the water, you can add nutrient solution to it to ensure nutrient replenishment, but the amount should not be too much.

3. Water quality selection

The water used can be purified water. If conditions do not permit, tap water can also be used, but it must be left to stand for 1-2 days and not used right away. The chlorine must be evaporated before normal hydroponics can be achieved.

4. Timely root pruning

When bamboo is soaked in water, the roots will grow long and messy, and the roots may rot. If left unattended, it will affect the growth of the plant and may even cause the death of the plant, so the roots need to be pruned in time and the rotten roots need to be cut off.

5. Light temperature

Place it in a diffuse light environment and only need to be exposed to bright light. Do not expose it to the sun to prevent it from withering. The temperature should be suitable, maintained between 15-25 degrees Celsius.
