When and how to plant water spinach

1. Planting time

Water spinach is suitable for growing in an environment with good light and a certain humidity. Its seeds will only germinate when the temperature is maintained above 15℃. Usually, the southern region can choose to carry out the process between April and July, while the lower temperature in the north can postpone it to June to August.

2. Planting Method

1. Soil: It has very low requirements for soil, as long as the soil is not too sticky. In addition, there is no need to add too much fertilizer to the soil, as too much fertilizer is not conducive to its growth.

2. Processing: Its seeds are very hard, so they must be processed before planting. Prepare warm water of about 50-60 degrees and soak the seeds in it for a quarter of an hour or half an hour. Also, stir constantly while soaking, and then soak in clean water for another day.

3. Germination: After soaking, the seeds should be placed in a greenhouse for germination. They should be rinsed every day during the germination process. When most of the seeds turn white, they can be planted.

4. Planting: You can use row sowing or broadcast sowing. Put the germinated seeds into the soil, then cover the seeds with a layer of soil and keep the soil moist.
