Although Magnolia officinalis has good adaptability, it is suitable for planting in loose, humus-rich, neutral or slightly acidic sandy loam and loam. It should not be planted in heavy, poorly drained soil. Before sowing, the soil needs to be renovated in advance, sufficient base fertilizer should be applied, and a sunny, dry place should be selected.
