How to plant passion fruit seedlings

How to plant passion fruit seedlings

1. Selecting seedlings

Before planting, you must first select the seedlings, and try to plant seedlings that have good growth and relatively complete root systems. Such seedlings will take root faster after planting. You can buy it at the local market or find a reliable online store. Usually the height of the seedlings should be around 1-1.5m.

2. Preparing the Garden

If you are planting on a large scale, you must first find a good site. The planting area should not be too dark and should have sufficient light. Then the garden needs to be deeply plowed and some organic fertilizer should be added to the soil as base fertilizer. When planting at home, you need to prepare the soil. It is recommended to use relatively loose and thick soil.

3. Planting

Dig a hole in the prepared soil. The depth should be kept at about 20-25cm, not too deep or too shallow. Plant the selected passion fruit saplings. There should be a certain distance between each tree and they should not be too close. After planting, water the seeds appropriately to help them grow.

4. Planting and maintenance

After watering after planting, you need to water again after an interval of about 5 days. The planting soil should be kept in a slightly moist state. Don't be too anxious to add water, otherwise it will be too excessive and the roots will rot. It is best not to expose the plant to direct sunlight within one week after planting, but it can still be exposed to light after the seedling acclimatization period.
