The cactus succulents grow poorly. Cut them and throw them into the water, and the bottle will be full of big white roots!

The cactus is 1cm away from water, and large white roots emerge in a week

When raising cacti at home, the thing you fear most is being too diligent. If you water them too much, the roots will rot in minutes. In this case, it is better to use hydroponics to induce the cactus to grow roots and grow into a new bonsai.

Break off the stem (palm) of the cactus and place it in a place out of direct sunlight for 3 days to allow the wound to dry thoroughly, then put it into the prepared water bottle.

Be careful not to let the bottom of the palm touch the water surface, otherwise the roots will rot. The palm should be suspended 1 cm above the water surface, and the water roots will be induced after about 1 week!

Cut off the head of the succulent and throw it into the water, the leaves stand upright and the roots grow wildly

Succulent plants are often chopped off due to root rot and excessive growth. In fact, we can throw the chopped off succulent heads into water to induce them to grow roots and then replant them, or grow them in permanent water as bonsai.

Generally, we use a sterilized blade to cut off the head of the succulent, place it in a cool and dry place to let the roots dry for 24 hours, and then place the succulent in a hydroponic bottle.

It should be noted that it is best to keep the bottom of the succulent about 1 cm away from the water surface to prevent root rot. After the succulent grows water roots, it can be replanted in the soil or nutrient solution can be added to continue hydroponics.

The cactus with rotten roots can be revived by cutting it and throwing it into water

The fatal cause of cactus and prickly pear is the same. Most of them will cause the roots of the plant to rot due to excessive watering. When encountering this situation, we can use a sharp knife to cut off all the rotten parts.

Then place the cactus out of direct sunlight for 3 days to allow the cut to dry thoroughly (to help promote rooting), then place the cactus in a hydroponic bottle with the cut 1 cm away from the water surface.

Generally, if the temperature is high, water roots can be grown in a week. After rooting, we can add a few drops of nutrient solution to the water (generally 1 drop for 150 ml of water) to supplement nutrients for the plant.

Throw the shriveled aloe vera into water, and the leaves will swell into balls in 7 days

Many flower lovers say that aloe vera is easy to grow, but the leaves are easily wrinkled and shriveled. If you encounter this situation, you might as well dig the aloe vera out of the soil, wash the roots and then grow it in water. The leaves will become round in a week.

We can prepare a hydroponic bottle and then put the aloe vera in it. The base of the stem should be 1 to 0.5 cm away from the water surface and the roots should be completely inserted into the water.

If conditions permit, you can also add a few drops of nutrient solution when changing the water. If there is no nutrient solution, you can also add some fermented cake fertilizer water to ensure sufficient nutrients. There is no problem with keeping the plant in water all the time.
