Cut the longevity flower and feed it some medicine, the flower buds fill the pot

"Cut a knife"

1. Cut before the flowers

If you want the Kalanchoe to bloom more, you must top it in the early stages of growth and cut off the top buds to promote branch growth. The more branches it has, the more flowers it will bloom in the later stages.

Tips: When the seedlings are 10 cm tall, keep 3 to 5 pairs of leaves and a 5 cm tall stem, then remove the terminal buds.

This topping will accompany the entire growth process, and the Kalanchoe will grow more and more vigorously until flower buds emerge.

2. Cut after the flowers bloom

After the flowers fade, quickly cut off the withered branches, including the second pair of leaves below. After a while, new buds will grow and the plant may bloom again.

For old stumps, you can prune them heavily after the flowers fade. If you don’t prune them, the quality of the flowers will be very poor!

Note: When pruning, be sure to cut above the axillary buds to facilitate branching; keep a few large flower leaves to promote photosynthesis.

"Give me some medicine"

Flowering consumes a lot of nutrients, and the plant is relatively "weak" after the flowers fade. After cutting off the withered branches, you must quickly add some granular fertilizer and bury a few slow-release fertilizers along the edge of the pot to replenish the fertilizer so that the plant has the strength to bloom the second batch of flowers.

"Cut a knife"

1. Cut 1 knife before flowering

During the bud formation period of Christmas cactus, many tender leaves will grow on the top of the branches. These tender leaves cannot bloom and will only waste nutrients. If you remove them, the flowers that bloom will be better.

Note: If there are less than 4 leaves on a branch, do not remove the tender leaves at the top.

2. Shave your head after the flower

When the flowers droop and the branches feel a little soft, it means that they are about to wither. At this time, cut off the flower branches, leaving only 3 to 4 leaves on each branch, so that they can "recharge their energy" in time and prepare for the next flowering.

"Give me some medicine"

1. After pruning, bury a circle of compound fertilizer on the edge of the flower pot, water it after burying it, so that it can grow strong as soon as possible;

2. After a month, spray some potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution on the leaves and expose them to more sunlight. Soon, the second batch of flower buds will emerge!
