Anthurium hydroponic cultivation method, what to use to fix

Anthurium hydroponic cultivation method, what to use to fix

1. Suitable lighting

Anthurium is suitable for growing in a semi-shady environment and is afraid of strong sunlight. Especially in hydroponic cultivation, strong light can easily increase the evaporation rate of water, thus affecting the development of the plants. Normally, you should place it in a bright place so that it can receive scattered light. If you place it on a balcony, you must provide adequate shade.

2. Suitable temperature

Anthurium has high temperature requirements and grows best when the temperature is between 26-32℃. Normally the maximum temperature cannot exceed 35℃, and the minimum temperature cannot be lower than 14℃. In summer, you need to do a good job of cooling down, and you can spray water around appropriately. In winter, the plants need to be kept warm to prevent frostbite and placed in a warm place indoors.

3. Change water regularly

Because it is hydroponics, the water quality is prone to change, and not changing the water for a long time will affect the growth of the plants. The interval between water changes is usually related to the temperature. If the temperature is high, water changes should be more frequent, and water changes can be postponed when it is cold. In addition, since water will evaporate, you should replenish water appropriately every day according to the amount of water loss.

4. Supplement nutrients

Anthurium requires certain nutrients during its growth process, but hydroponics cannot be directly fertilized, so nutrient solution needs to be added to the water. Usually add it once every 7-10 days, and the concentration must be controlled so as not to affect the growth of the roots. In addition, you can shake the container appropriately after adding, so that the nutrients can be better dissolved in the water, thus facilitating absorption.
