Can Thousand Buddha Hands be hydroponically cultivated?

Thousand Buddha's Hand can be grown in water, and it can also be grown in soil. The Thousand Buddha's Hands we usually see in life are all grown in soil. Because the size of hydroponic Thousand Buddha's Hands is obviously inferior to those grown in traditional soil, and the color is much darker than that grown in soil under the same light, the number of hydroponic Thousand Buddha's Hands is very small.

Methods and key points of hydroponic cultivation of Thousand Buddha Hands

1. Choose a healthy soil-grown Thousand Buddha Hand, and then remove it from the pot. Be very gentle when removing it from the pot so as not to damage the root system. Use tweezers to gently remove the soil from the roots.

2. Rinse off the remaining soil on the roots with water, cut off the old roots, keep the main roots or relatively thick roots, and then place the processed Thousand Buddha Hands in a ventilated place to dry.

3. Prepare a transparent container to observe the status of the hydroponic Thousand Buddha's Hand and the changes in water quality, add water and nutrient solution appropriately, and then put the dried Thousand Buddha's Hand into the container filled with water. If the mouth of the container is too large, you can use toothpicks to support the plant.

4. Make sure the roots of the Thousand Buddha Hands are submerged 1/3 of the way into the water. Remember to ensure there is a certain gap between the Thousand Buddha Hands and the bottle mouth to allow air circulation.

Precautions for water-growing Thousand Buddha Hands

1. After the hydroponic cultivation of Thousand Buddha's Hand is completed, it should be placed in a sunny and well-ventilated environment, because Thousand Buddha's Hand likes sunlight and must be provided with the light it needs for growth.

2. When the Thousand Buddha's Hand grows new roots, you can change the water and apply fertilizer. The hydroponic Thousand Buddha's Hand needs more nutrients, and the water needs to be changed once a week.

3. During the growth period of Thousand Buddha's Hand, fertilizer should be applied every three times the water is changed, and the special nutrient solution for hydroponics should be diluted before use to avoid burning the roots due to excessive concentration. At the same time, it should be noted that no fertilizer is needed during the dormant period, only water needs to be changed.
