Planting Cabbage in Spring

The best time to sow spring cabbage is in mid-to-late February, when the temperature is still relatively low. The seedlings that have undergone the low-temperature process will grow stronger. It is very important to disinfect the seeds during planting. The seeds are easily contaminated by bacteria, pests and diseases during storage.

Planting cabbage in summer

The summer cabbage planting season is generally from August to October. The day before sowing, the seedbed can be watered sufficiently, and sowing can be done the next day. The first batch of cabbage can be harvested when it has grown about 10 leaves and is about 15-20 cm. After that, each time you harvest it according to the principle of picking the big ones and keeping the small ones. In this way, you can continue harvesting for several times.
