1. Lighting

Camellia is a contradiction that loves sunlight but is afraid of overexposure. However, the light in winter is warm and soft, so there is no need to worry about the plant getting sunburned. On the contrary, the flower buds will shrivel and fall off if the light is not good.

So at this time, we need to provide camellia with sufficient light. If there are flower buds blocked by the leaves at the top, we need to pull out the leaves to ensure that the flower buds can get sunlight.

2. Temperature

The climate is cold in winter. Once the temperature drops below 0℃, long-term low temperature will cause the plants to freeze, and the flowers and buds to fall off. It is best to keep the temperature between 5~15℃.

3. Moisture

After the camellia has flower buds, the water should not be too much or too little, otherwise the buds will easily dry out and fall off. You can observe the surface soil of the camellia, and water it immediately when it is dry and white or slightly cracked.
