Why are jasmine leaves wrinkled?

Why are jasmine leaves wrinkled?

1. Lack of light

Jasmine is relatively fond of sunlight. If it is not allowed to see the sun for a long time during the maintenance process, the growth of the plant will become very poor, and the leaves will not only become wrinkled but also turn yellow. The plant should be provided with as much light as possible. Under photosynthesis, its leaves will grow normally. Not only will the wrinkling phenomenon be improved, but the leaves will also grow stronger and greener.

2. Overwatering

It is suitable for growing in a relatively humid environment, but it is afraid of waterlogging. If it is over-watered, the plant will easily rot if it is in a state of waterlogging for a long time. After the roots rot, its leaves will show many adverse symptoms, such as wrinkling, yellowing or falling off. Drainage and water control should be done well, and it should be watered in small amounts.

3. Apply more fertilizer

When caring for jasmine, do not apply too much fertilizer, otherwise the roots will not be able to absorb it. If the amount of fertilizer is too much, the leaves will become wrinkled, and in severe cases, the tender buds on the plant will be burned to death. The amount of fertilizer applied needs to be strictly controlled and should be applied in small amounts and multiple times. But you can't go without fertilizing it for a long time. When there is a lack of fertilizer, the plant will grow poorly.
