Scrape off some skin from the surface of the strawberry, throw it into the soil and rub it until it sprouts, and it will produce 100 fruits!

If you scrape the skin of a strawberry, it can actually grow into little seedlings!

1. First, find a ripe strawberry.

2. Use a small knife to scrape off a thin layer of the strawberry flesh with seeds on the surface and spread it on a paper towel.

3. Place the strawberries in a dry and ventilated place until they are dry.

4. Use your hands to peel off the strawberry seeds from the paper towel and only take those that are plump.

5. Prepare leaf mold, spray the soil until it is slightly moist and can be formed into a ball when squeezed in the hand. Pour the soil into a paper cup, filling it to 2/3 of the height.

6. Sprinkle the seeds on the soil surface, cover with a thin layer of dry soil, spray it slightly wet, and cover with a plastic bag.

7. Put the disposable paper cup into a foam box and leave it in a cool place without any care. The temperature should be around 20 degrees and it will germinate in about a week!

8. After most of the seeds have germinated, place the foam box in a well-lit place and ensure that it receives light for about half a day. For the rest of the time, keep it covered with a plastic bag.

9. When the seedlings are almost taller than the paper cup, we will remove the plastic bag and expose them to the sun all day.

10. When it grows a little bigger, we can transplant it into a larger pot!

11. Expose the pot to more sunlight during this period, and water it thoroughly when the surface of the pot is dry. Apply some compound fertilizer and water every week. After about 4 months, you can eat strawberries!

12. Note that when the strawberries are in bloom, you need to use a brush to brush the flowers one by one so that they can produce big fruits!

If sowing strawberries takes too long, we can just plant seedlings. We can eat them in less than two months!

If you think sowing seeds is too slow, you can also buy small strawberry seedlings. It is relatively easier, but you do need to spend some time on maintenance!

1. After receiving the strawberry seedlings with soil, we'd better plant them in pots as soon as possible.

2. Before potting, don't be greedy and pick off the fruits and flowers to avoid nutrient consumption and affect the seedlings' adaptation to the pot.

3. When choosing a pot, be careful not to use a pot that is too large. For general seedlings, a pot of about one gallon will be sufficient. Moreover, the gallon pot is breathable and tall. After the strawberries are grown, the fruits hang outside the pot and are not easily rotten by the soil.

4. As for soil, Huahua recommends that you use leaf mold, or peat soil: perlite: vermiculite = 3:1:1 ratio, or garden soil mixed with sand and coal slag.

5. Place a layer of tiles or expanded clay at the bottom of the pot to drain the water, then cover it with a layer of soil, and then sprinkle a layer of chicken manure, decomposed bean cake or other base fertilizer.

6. After applying the base fertilizer, spread a layer of soil, then slowly fill it with soil, plant the strawberries, and finally water it thoroughly!

7. If you received bare-root seedlings, they will look like the picture below.

8. It is recommended that after removing the plastic film, soak the roots in a solution of carbendazim for half an hour to allow the roots to absorb enough water before potting them.

9. When potting bare-root seedlings, make sure to pile the soil into a small hill. After combing the seedlings, place them on the hill and slowly add soil.

10. After the seedlings are potted, place them in a place with scattered light for a while. When the leaves are fully upright and fresh, place them in a place with better light and let them get more sun.

11. Regarding fertilization, apply fertilizer one month after potting. If the plant is not blooming, spray some foliar fertilizer every week, such as Huaduoduo; after it blooms, spray some potassium dihydrogen phosphate on the leaves, with a concentration of one thousandth will be enough!

12. Regarding watering, water thoroughly when the soil is dry, and pay attention to ventilation when growing indoors.

13. After the strawberries bloom, the strawberries grown indoors must be pollinated in order to bear fruit. From 9 to 11 a.m., use a brush to brush the stamens, allowing the stamens on the outside to rub against the pistils inside.

14. If you grow them outdoors, the bees and the wind will naturally pollinate them. After the pollination is successful, you can eat the delicious strawberries soon!

15. If you are worried that the fruit will be eaten by small animals or will be dirty with dirt, you can put it in a small mesh bag.

Strawberry propagation by stem running, 1 plant becomes 10 plants!

After tasting the sweetness of strawberries, do you want more strawberry seedlings and eat more strawberries? If you do, learn the stem walking propagation method from Huahua and turn your 1 pot of strawberries into 10 pots!

1. When the strawberries grow up, they will extend some runners, which can grow into separate strawberry seedlings.

2. Find a disposable paper cup or plastic cup, and poke a few holes in the bottom of the plastic cup for ventilation.

3. Fill the cup with soil. You can use leaf mold or garden soil + sand.

4. Place the small seedlings that extend from the strawberry stems on the soil and compact them slightly.

5. Keep the soil slightly moist. After the seedlings grow roots, we can cut off their stems. At this time, the seedlings can grow into individual seedlings!
