Shading

Watering

Watering

In autumn, red peonies should be placed in a place with sufficient sunlight and sheltered from rain, and the soil in the pots should be kept dry. After the weather turns cooler, gradually reduce watering and let the plant slowly enter a dormant state.

When the outside temperature drops to 10℃, move the plant to a warm place indoors for maintenance in time, such as a closed balcony or indoors with light.

Insulation

Peonies are not cold-resistant, and the indoor temperature in winter should be controlled above 10℃, and can be around 0℃. In areas with higher temperatures in winter, pay attention to keeping warm when maintaining outdoors.

Fill Light

Peonies will enter a dormant period in winter. Place the potted plants in a sunny place to allow them to photosynthesize and accumulate nutrients in preparation for flowering next year. During this period, pay attention to water control. The lower the temperature, the drier the soil in the pot should be.
