1. Treatment methods for root rot

If you find that the roots of hydroponic lucky bamboo are rotten, you need to prune it in time. When pruning, use a sterilized knife, take the plant out of the vase, rinse it with clean water, and check for root rot. Use scissors to cut off the rotten roots, making sure the cuts are smooth. After trimming off the rotten roots, soak them in potassium permanganate solution, take them out after 5 minutes and rinse them with clean water. Then pour out the dirty water in the vase, clean the inner wall of the container, fill it with water, put the plant in and rehydrate it.

2. Water odor treatment method

1. Take the plant out of the smelly water, clean the roots and check whether there is rot. If there is, cut off the rotten roots.

2. Pour out all the water in the bottle, clean the inner wall of the container with a brush, and disinfect it.

3. After disinfection, refill the water with clean water and put metronidazole tablets in the water to kill anaerobic bacteria.

4. Place the lucky bamboo in a sterilized container and keep it in water. Remember to change the water regularly.
