Can Bear's Paw be hydroponically cultivated?

Bear's Paw can be grown hydroponically. Although we usually grow it in soil, Bear's Paw can actually be grown in water. Bear's Paw grown hydroponically is no worse than that grown in soil, and it will even be more lush.

Methods and key points of hydroponic cultivation of bear's paw

1. Choose the parent

Take the bear's paw out of the flowerpot, clean off the excess dust at the roots of the plant, then wash its roots with clean water and deal with the rotten roots.

2. Container

Trim the roots that are too long, disinfect them, and place them in a hydroponic bottle prepared in advance. Be careful not to add too much water. It is best to let the roots of the Bear's Paw just touch the water. This will not only make it grow faster, but also grow more new roots.

Precautions for keeping bear paw in water

1. For the Bear's Paw that has just been transferred to the hydroponic environment, try not to change the water for it frequently. You can change the water after two or three days when it grows roots. At the same time, you can drop a little nutrient solution in the water to ensure its growth.

2. The hydroponic Bear's Paw likes an environment with plenty of sunlight to grow fuller and the edges of the leaves will change color. However, in the case of hydroponics, try to avoid long-term direct sunlight, otherwise it will easily damage its root system. So place it in a place with scattered light or pay attention to shading when exposed to the sun.
