How to grow rubber trees

How to grow rubber trees

1. Breeding conditions

1. Soil: The roots of rubber trees are not suitable for growing in soil with high viscosity. The drainage and air permeability of the soil should be considered first when caring for rubber trees. You can use garden soil, then mix it with expanded clay to increase air permeability, and then you can use it to plant it.

2. Light: It has strict requirements on sunlight, especially during the growth period, it needs sufficient sunlight to ensure its normal metabolism. During the growing season, the plant should receive at least six hours of sunlight per day, and during the non-growing season, it should receive at least four hours of sunlight per day.

3. Watering: The plant has a strong ability to tolerate drought, so the watering time is generally not fixed. When watering, you should first observe the soil. If the soil is completely dry and there are small cracks on the surface, it is time to water it. The amount of watering should be controlled so that the soil is completely moist but there is no water accumulation.

4. Fertilization: It grows relatively fast and has a large demand for nutrients, so it needs to be fertilized frequently. The interval is generally once every half a month, and the fertilizer should be less irritating as much as possible.

2. Pest and disease control

It is a plant that is more susceptible to insect pests, so you need to be extra careful during the maintenance process. If unfortunately the plant is infected with pests, you can use sterilization agent for spraying, but the medicine needs to be diluted before spraying. In addition, more ventilation is required during normal maintenance.
