Luminous plants on land

Luminous plants on land

1. Fluorescent Mushroom

The fluorescent mushroom is an extremely rare fungus, also known as the ant street lamp and fluorescent mushroom. It will emit a ghostly green light similar to a ghost fire in the dark. The luminescence mechanism of fluorescent mushrooms has not yet been elucidated, but it is different from the luminescence matrix of fireflies. The luminescence mechanism of fireflies is the chemical reaction of luciferin, fluorescent enzyme, ATP and oxygen in their bodies. The luminescence time of fluorescent mushrooms seems to be periodic. If they are moved to a dark place during the day, they will not glow until the evening.

2. Luminous Tree

The luminous tree contains a large amount of phosphorus, which causes it to glow at night. The luminous tree is mainly distributed in the primeval forests of North America and Wugong Mountain in Jiangxi Province, my country, and is generally difficult to see. The luminous tree is tall and has pink flowers, making it a high ornamental value.

3. Queen of the Night

The Queen of the Night is a black and purple tulip. Its stamens are rich in phosphorus. When night falls, the stamens will emit fluorescence like fireflies. It is also a luminous plant.

4. Lantern Tree

The lantern tree belongs to the genus Campanula of the Ericaceae family. It is a deciduous shrub or small tree, between 3 and 6 meters tall. It has lush branches and leaves, and it blooms in May every year. The flowers are brightly colored and peculiar in shape, and the plant is healthy. It also bears fruit after flowering, and the capsules are oval, making it a good ornamental tree species. It is mainly distributed in Jiangxi, Guangxi, Zhejiang, Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan and other regions in my country.
