When and how to plant peas

When and how to plant peas

1. Time

Planting should be done at the right time, usually from March to May in spring. If planted at this time, the seeds will be easier to germinate and grow better. It can also be planted in autumn, preferably in September. The climate at these two times is relatively mild, which is very suitable for its growth.

2. Methods

1. Select seeds: When planting, choose seeds of good quality. It is best to use seeds with large and full grains. Such seeds have a better growth and germination rate. The seeds must also be healthy enough. If you find seeds with diseases and pests, you should try to pick them out. Not only will they fail to germinate, they will also contaminate the cultivation soil.

2. Germination process: After selecting the seeds, soak them in salt water first, then remove the seeds floating on the water and throw them away. Soak it in water for a day, and when it has absorbed enough water, take it out and start sowing.

3. Planting method: After the seeds turn white, plant them in the soil, then water them thoroughly, cover them with a thin layer of soil, press them down, and then wait for them to germinate. After 2-3 days, when it starts to sprout, just remove the film.
