Breeding methods and precautions for blue butterflies

Breeding methods and precautions for blue butterflies

1. Soil

The soil requirements for breeding are good drainage, fertile and loose. You can mix river sand and garden soil, and then add appropriate amount of fertilizer to increase the nutrients, which can make the plant grow more vigorously in the later stage.

2. Temperature

It likes a warm environment, can tolerate a certain degree of high temperature, and is suitable for growing in an environment with a temperature between 23 degrees and 32 degrees. Be careful when the temperature is low, as it has poor cold resistance. It is best to keep it in a warm environment in winter to avoid frostbite.

3. Lighting

It likes light, but is afraid of strong light. Therefore, maintenance should be adjusted in time according to the lighting conditions. When the light is suitable, give it full-day light exposure, so that the flower color will be more colorful. If the sunlight is strong in the summer, you should avoid it in time or block it with shelter. It is enough to give it sunlight for half a year to avoid sunburn.

4. Fertilization

There is no need to add fertilizer too frequently during maintenance, as it does not require much fertilizer. Just apply fertilizer twice in the spring before the peak growing season and after flowering. Long-acting fertilizer can be used for fertilization in spring to make it grow more vigorously. Fertilizing after the flowers bloom can replenish the nutrients consumed by flowering and help recover as quickly as possible.

5. Notes

When caring for the plant, pay attention to timely pruning. Cutting off diseased branches and branches that grow too densely can save nutrients and promote the growth of other branches to be stronger. In addition, pruning should be done once after the flowers bloom to shorten the plant shape.
