How to grow Angelica dahurica

How to grow Angelica dahurica

1. Seed processing

When planting, choose disease-free and forked seeds. First place them in a cellar at low temperature, take them out after two days, then place them in sandy soil to germinate, and transplant them when tender leaves grow.

2. Land preparation and planting

When planting, you should choose soil with good water retention and organic matter. You can mix nutrient soil with organic fertilizer and stir it. After it is ready, you can plant the sprouted seedlings. When planting, the spacing between rows and plants should be between 15 and 20 centimeters, and not too close. After planting, cover with a layer of soil and compact it. In addition, in the later stage, the seedlings need to be identified and those that are too large or too small need to be removed, which will be more conducive to the growth of the main seedlings.

3. Fixed value management

When the seedlings grow to a height of about five centimeters, weeding should be done to prevent weeds from competing for nutrients. When the grass grows to ten centimeters, weeding should be done again. In addition, be careful not to overwater at this time, the soil should be half wet. During the rainy season, attention should be paid to timely drainage to ensure that there is no accumulation of water. If it is a dry season, increase the amount of water.

4. Reasonable fertilization

If you want it to grow more vigorously, you need to apply fertilizer appropriately in the later stage. Usually fertilizer should be applied four times a year, the first two times when thinning out the seedlings. Fertilizer can be diluted manure fertilizer or urea fertilizer. It should also be applied when transplanting seedlings, but be careful not to make the concentration too high. In addition, apply wood ash once in spring.
