How to grow daisies in spring

How to grow daisies in spring

1. Increase watering

It likes to grow in a humid environment, so be sure to keep the soil moist. The temperature in early spring is not high, and the water evaporates slowly, so watering two or three times a week is enough. The temperature in late spring is relatively high, and the water evaporates quickly, so watering is needed every two days. Do not use freshly connected tap water for watering. The water should be dried before use.

2. Increase nutrients

It consumes a lot of fertilizer in spring and needs appropriate nutrient additions. In early spring, you can use mild fertilizers such as farmyard manure. In late spring, the plant's condition is relatively stable, and you can use strong fertilizers, such as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium compound fertilizers, and use them once every two weeks.

3. Increase Lighting

Daisies require a lot of light, but cannot tolerate strong light, so they need to be slightly shielded from the strong light when exposed to light, especially in late spring when the sunlight is strong and the temperature is relatively high, so they need to be moved to a cool place to cool down.

4. Control the temperature

Its lowest tolerant temperature is 0 degrees. If it is below 0 degrees, it will stop growing and will be frostbitten. The temperature in early spring is unstable and spring cold is prone to occur. Therefore, it is not suitable for open-field breeding at this time. You should wait until the temperature stabilizes before breeding in the open. If you breed indoors, you need to keep the temperature at around 15 degrees, which is a more suitable temperature for its growth.
