How to grow thin makeup succulents

How to grow thin makeup succulents

1. Soil

Thin makeup succulents are suitable for growing in loose and well-breathable substrates. When planting, try to choose this type of soil to avoid affecting the growth of the plant. Please note that the soil must be disinfected before use. If there are bacteria or insect eggs in the soil, it will be very harmful to the growth of succulents.

2. Sunlight

Spring and autumn are its peak growth seasons, so the plants must be provided with sufficient light during cultivation, and it is best to cultivate them outdoors. It cannot be placed in a dark location indoors for a long time, as this will make its shape loose. If the outdoor light is not enough, you can use a fill light to supplement the light.

3. Water

When growing it outdoors, you can water it sufficiently. You can water it after the soil becomes dry to avoid long-term waterlogging or long-term dryness. Be careful not to get wet in the rain and do a good job of sheltering from the rain to avoid leaf rot. After watering it, do not expose it to strong sunlight, and do not allow water to accumulate in the center of the leaves of the plant.

IV. Reproduction

The propagation of the thin-skinned succulent is mostly by cuttings. In the season when it grows more vigorously, cut a strong branch from the top of the plant. Prepare soil with good air permeability, insert it into the soil and wait for it to grow roots.
