The most important management measure during the cyclamen seedling stage is disease prevention. As long as this is done well, subsequent production will be easier. When planting cyclamen, it is necessary to water it thoroughly and also spray it with pesticides. Since pathogens such as Fusarium have a long incubation period and cyclamen is particularly susceptible to infection, sterilization spraying should be carried out once a week after planting. After planting, insect-proof nets should be installed at the windows of the greenhouse, and yellow boards should be hung in the greenhouse to strengthen monitoring of thrips, aphids and mites to prevent large-scale pests. Regularly spray pesticides in the greenhouse and surrounding environment to effectively control pests with drugs. The prevention and control of diseases should start with environmental control, regulate the environmental conditions in the greenhouse, and regularly spray broad-spectrum fungicides for drug prevention and control. When choosing insecticides and fungicides commonly used for cyclamen, the concentration should be determined according to the content of the active ingredients of the pesticides and the instructions for use, and they should be used alternately to prevent the plants from developing resistance. For drugs that have not been used on cyclamen, small-scale tests should be carried out before large-scale use to prevent drug damage. After planting, the greenhouse temperature can be controlled at around 20℃. After the seedlings have recovered, their adaptability to temperature increases and can be controlled between 15℃ and 28℃. During this period, the temperature difference between day and night can be maximized within the appropriate temperature range to promote the growth of seedling bulbs, cultivate strong seedlings, and apply corresponding fertilizers according to the root system and bulb growth of the cyclamen seedlings. |
