1. Treatment methods

1. Remove from the pot: When the roots of the money tree rot, you need to remove it from the pot first. Before removing the plant from the pot, you can carefully loosen the soil or knock on the outer wall of the pot to separate the soil and pot, then take it out by holding the stem. Clean the dirt on the roots and then rinse them with clean water.

2. Pruning: After the rhizomes of the plant are cleaned, find sharp scissors and cut off the rotten parts of the rhizomes. If the rot is severe, you can cut it off completely. But be sure to remember to disinfect after pruning. The disinfectant can be methyl thiophanate or potassium permanganate. If necessary, you can also apply some rooting powder.

3. Potting: The soil used for previous planting should be replaced with new soil. When potting, first dig a hole in the pot, put the money tree in and fix it with soil. Finally, water it thoroughly and place it in a relatively cool environment. It will start to grow roots in about one to two weeks.
